A few weeks ago Kate, Thomas, our pal Denver and I headed to Chicago to see our peeps Ben and Beth! We had the most wonderful time! One of the best things about big cities are all the faaaabulous outfits you can see. And of course much better shopping.
This evening in particular we all went to see one of favorite comedians Jen Kirkman! (look her up, she's great.) But of course we bought new outfits first. We spent the whole afternoon thrift shopping in Wicker Park. Kate snagged up this siiiiick fur coat for $30 while I got this cutietime romper (courtesy of Beth's searching) for NINE DOLLARS. WHAT A STEAL, AMIRIGHT!?
Another great thing about thrifting is finding something you can repurpose. For example instead of paying $40 for a pair of jean shorts at Urban Outfitters you can pay less than $10 and put ya own flava on it. Cut them up how you like or even bleach some patches!
